Warning: Do not post ANY derogatory, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, threatening, invasions of privacy, libelous or slanderous materials on this board. Such postings are against the policies of this bulletin board, North Oregon Babe Ruth and Babe Ruth League, Inc. We would appreciate it if you notify us if you find any such prohibited or other offensive material posted on this board. We will take prompt action to rectify any such violations as soon as they actually become known to us.
There is no obligation on the part of anyone to use this message board or to scan the message list. In addition, do not put any private or confidential messages on this message board. This message board is designed and intended as a PUBLIC bulletin board and all messages can be read by all persons. If you truly have a private message, you might be better served to phone the person or send him/her an e-mail.
Note: This board is to be used only for NONCOMMERCIAL baseball (or softball) related matters. This board is not to be used for scheduling of any games; to schedule games, please use our Game Scheduling Board. Do not use this board as a general "classified ad" for selling cars or garage sale items. That said, if you are a member of the Babe Ruth community, you may use the board to advertise for sale (or wanted) baseball or softball related items... such as pitching machines, used uniforms, etc. Commercial companies (and their representatives) may not use this board or our Game Scheduling Board to "pitch" their products (pun intended) and we anticipate that our leagues will not "reward" commercial companies that violate our message board policies.
In order to avoid clutter and to enforce the above bulletin board use policies, we reserve the right to periodically go in and "erase" all "stale" messages or messages past a certain arbitrary date or any "non-conforming use" messages. We also reserve the right to remove any message or ad which in our sole and absolute discretion and/or judgment: 1) abuses the purpose of such bulletin board(s), or 2) otherwise violates any of the aforesaid policies for use of the board(s), or 3) is patently offensive, or 4) for any or no stated reason.
Finally, while we reserve the right to remove any material from our website, we do not undertake to review or monitor such discussions or content and we make no affirmative representations in this regard.
